Holding the B button will cause the blue meter to rapidly increase and decrease from full to empty.
However, if you DON'T let go of B, it will appear in his hand, but he WON'T throw it, and above his icon (the icon that appears for every fighter at the bottom of the screen) a blue meter will appear. (from now, KB means knockback.)įor the side special, (Left/Right + B) Flippy would throw a cream pie slice, (Level 3 throw) dealing 17 damage. (the same amount of damage the attack does in Toontown, which is 4)ĪLTERNATIVELY, you can hold it for another second or two and he'll swap it for a Bugle, (Level 3 sound) which deals 11% damage and slightly more knockback and range, OR you can hold it for ANOTHER second and he'll swap it for a trunk (Level 5 sound) which deals 21% damage and a little more KB, and range. You can then let go of B right there and Flippy will sound the bikehorn, dealing around 4% of damage and slight knockback, with short range. Pressing B would have Flippy pull out a megaphone, with the bikehorn (Level 1 sound) appearing. I think Flippy would be a competitively decent character, with a fair amount of room for error, (pardon me if that doesn't make any sense, I do NOT know what I am doing) but decent enough to get something GOOD from.įor the neutral special, I think a charged move would work well. Q2 and Q4, I think Flippy would be a lightweight character, possibly something along the lines of Isabelle and Duck Hunt Duo, considering the three are the same species. He's the president of the Toon Council, and the governor of Toontown.
I'll answer Q1, 2 and 4 after this, but personally, for Q3, I think Flippy would be the most appropriate for representation. I had all sorts of ideas, like, what kind of gags would the character use? Would they be medium or lightweight? Which toon would we even use? How strong would they be? Should I post this here or in r/smashbros? So I saw some sort of art somewhere on Reddit depicting Mario and Flippy in Smash Bros.
